Artistic Journey Overview

Alisha Jacob is a Melbourne-based actor and multidisciplinary artist. A Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School graduate, she works across stage, screen, and movement, with a passion for bold storytelling and cross-cultural collaboration.

Highlights include Antigone, physical theatre piece Mimic Another, her solo show Mannequin Talk, short films Blue Lights and Flowers of Eventide, and Radio New Zealand’s Fake Baby. Most recently wrapping on another short by Miryam Jacobi, Hire A Wife, produced by Rathaus Films.

Currently she is working with Indian Ink Theatre Company, one of New Zealand’s most celebrated theatre companies. The show, Balloon Dog, is set to premiere for a development season in November 2025 and a professional season in 2026, marking an exciting new chapter in Alisha's growing career.
